Football Game Preview: Citizens Christian Academy Patriots vs. Fullington Academy Trojans

The Citizens Christian Academy Patriots will host the Fullington Academy Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Citizens Christian Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Westwood, who was ranked 14th at the time (Citizens Christian Academy was ranked 15th). The Patriots took a 32-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday. The Patriots have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Although Citizens Christian Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Tyson Crosby, Dalton Rogers, and Sam Ables.

Meanwhile, Fullington Academy played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Vidalia Heritage Academy 58-20. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-12.

Citizens Christian Academy's record is now 7-4. As for Fullington Academy, their record now sits at 4-6.

Citizens Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Fullington Academy when the teams last played back in September, but they still walked away with a 34-28 win.
