Volleyball Recap: Apollo Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Apollo and North Oldham squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Apollo had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in October.

North Oldham found their leader in sophomore Raleigh Becker, who had eight digs and two aces.

Apollo moved to 31-10 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-match winning streak. As for North Oldham, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-11 record this season.

Apollo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Oldham, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Notre Dame Academy on the 8th.
