Almond-Bancroft came tearing into Monday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Rosholt Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Almond-Bancroft got a massive performance out of Sophia Chapa, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Chapa has posted since back in April. Riya Ceballos was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Almond-Bancroft hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rosholt struck out seven times.

Almond-Bancroft's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Rosholt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season.

Almond-Bancroft will be playing in front of their home fans against Ripon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 1.6, the Tigers 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Rosholt, they are taking a road trip to challenge Tigerton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
