Baseball Recap: Colbert Heights Takes a Loss

Colbert Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Arab Knights.

Zander Hyde was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Hodges, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Colbert Heights' loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Arab, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colbert Heights will face off against Sheffield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arab, they will challenge Sparkman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
