Baseball Recap: Maconaquah Braves vs. Wabash Apaches

Maconaquah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Wabash Apaches by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Maconaquah has lost by just one run.

Bennett Isenburg put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Isenburg was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a triple.

Fields was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

Maconaquah's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wabash, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
