Vandegrift barely beat Hutto the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vipers put the hurt on the Hippos with a sharp 10-4 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Vipers, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Vandegrift is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Hutto, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

Vandegrift will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hippos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
