Basketball Recap: Beulah Comes Up Short

Beulah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 67-30 to the Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Miners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 20th).

Beulah's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton], their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Beulah has already played their next match, a 47-20 defeat against Wahpeton on the 24th. Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] has also already played their next game (against Belfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
