Volleyball Recap: Clark Montessori Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Miami on Wednesday, Clark Montessori came back down to earth. The Cougars fell just short of the Western Hills Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2016.

Clark Montessori took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 16-25, 21-25, 25-18, 15-9.

Clark Montessori has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Clark Montessori will be playing at home against Gamble Montessori at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Hills, they are taking a road trip to take on Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
