Prattville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies on Monday, falling 82-53. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Prattville lost, don't look at Deshawn Hall. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Letwan Hall Jr, who posted nine points.

The victory got Hewitt-Trussville back to even at 1-1.

Prattville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-56 defeat against Auburn on the 11th. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-45 win against Mortimer Jordan on the 14th.
