Stone Ridge Christian has gone 7-1 against Le Grand recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Knights will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Stone Ridge Christian sitting on four straight wins and Le Grand on six.
Last Friday, Stone Ridge Christian got the win against Waterford by a conclusive 16-1. Considering the Knights have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Emma Quisenberry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.
In other batting news, Hayden Quisenberry was incredible, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3. Addy Soto also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Stone Ridge Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Le Grand never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Delhi as they made off with a 19-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Stone Ridge Christian, Le Grand also got a great game from a two-way player: Ava Avila. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Avila was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaliyah Ceja, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and two triples while going 4-for-4. That's the most triples she has posted since back in March of 2024. Makayla Leyva was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Stone Ridge Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Le Grand, their record is now 7-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Stone Ridge Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Le Grand struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Stone Ridge Christian came up short against Le Grand in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 5-2. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
