Volleyball Recap: Humphreys Able Charter Takes a Loss

Humphreys Able Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Venture Academy Mustangs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Humphreys Able Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Venture Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humphreys Able Charter will square off against Lodi Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Legacy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Venture Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against River Islands at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
