Asheboro is 8-2 against Central Davidson since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Central Davidson was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell just short of North Stanly by a score of 2-1. The Spartans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Central Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Asheboro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Asheboro skirted past Central Davidson 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Asheboro repeat their success, or does Central Davidson has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
