Calvary Chapel put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Los Amigos Lobos by a score of 35-26. The Eagles pushed the score to 29-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lobos cut but never quite recovered from.

The critical scores for Calvary Chapel came from Mikah Moreno, Jorge Brito, Jackson Stice, Daniel Nieves, and Garrett Lindsay.

When it comes to explaining why Los Amigos lost, don't look at Kevin Centeno. Despite the final result, he rushed for 266 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Centeno is becoming a predictor of the Lobos' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 5-1 (and 0-4 when he doesn't).

Calvary Chapel's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Los Amigos, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Calvary Chapel will venture away from home to take on Quartz Hill at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Royals have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. Los Amigos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
