Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Charter Comes Up Short

If Lakeview Charter was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Valor Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lakeview Charter Lions came up short against the Panorama Pythons on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Lakeview Charter was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-19.

Lakeview Charter's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Panorama, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview Charter will host Stern at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Panorama, they will be playing at home against Lake Balboa College Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Panorama's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Lake Balboa College Prep has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
