Football Recap: Pataula Charter Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Windsor Academy

Pataula Charter Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Windsor Academy Knights on Friday, falling 32-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 26-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

A big part of Windsor Academy's win came down to the chemistry between Heath Woodard and his top target Santiago Medina. Woodard threw for 192 yards and three TDs while Medina picked up 33 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Pataula Charter Academy will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Barbour County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Windsor Academy, they will welcome Thomas Jefferson Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
