Soccer Game Preview: Camas vs. Puyallup + How To Watch

The Camas Papermakers will head out on the road to square off against the Puyallup Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Camas' defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Puyallup's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Camas is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Skyview, who was ranked fifth at the time (Camas was ranked tenth). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Camas' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Puyallup). They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Bethel on Thursday. Puyallup have beaten Bethel the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Bethel has come to flipping the script.

With that draw, Camas' record moves to 7-2-1. As for Puyallup, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Camas was able to grind out a solid victory over Puyallup in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Papermakers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
