For the second straight game, West Springfield will face off against West Potomac. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Springfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

West Springfield will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs last Wednesday, then bounced right back against West Potomac on Tuesday. The Spartans came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 16-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won seven in a row.

Andrea Yagui spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks.
