Basketball Recap: Northfield Comes Up Short

Northfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 69-25 to the Danville Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 69-25 loss last Wednesday.

Northfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Danville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-16 record this season.

Northfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-18 loss against Blue Mountain on the 1st. Danville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
