Imperial won the last time they faced Southwest EC and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers blew past the Eagles 3-0.

Imperial never let Southwest EC on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-23.

Maddie Magdaleno paced Imperial's offense, picking up nine kills. Magdaleno got some help from Chyenne Cox and her 23 assists. Cox also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kiana Tucker, each putting up three.

Imperial now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Southwest EC, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16.
