Volleyball Recap: Redwood Now 10-3 over Last 13 Games

If Golden West wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Redwood, they should've done a better job of containing Journey Vela. The Rangers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trailblazers on Wednesday thanks in part to Vela, who had 26 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 20 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Redwood walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 20-25, 25-14.

Redwood has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season. As for Golden West, they dropped their record down to 8-21 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Redwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Monache on the 16th. As for Golden West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Porterville on the 16th.
