Johnson came up big in Wiggins' 9-2 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Carston Johnson stepped things up a notch to give Wiggins the 'W'. Johnson did his part (and then some), not allowing a single hit, only one earned run over 4.2 innings pitched for the 'W'.
Johnson's strong effort led Wiggins over Sedgwick County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Johnson has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 0.3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Sedgwick County has only allowed 5.65 per game this season.
