Softball Recap: Cleveland Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cleveland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cold Springs Eagles on Friday as the Cleveland Panthers made off with a 9-3 victory. Ella Thomas was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Kylie Hudson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Cleveland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive matches.

Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Cold Springs, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
