Glendale's tournament run continued when they took on Dominguez on Friday. The Glendale Nitros put the hurt on the Dominguez Dons with a sharp 68-45 victory. The Nitros have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

Glendale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Samontina, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 19 points in addition to six assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Ramirez, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 16 points and five steals.

Glendale's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Glendale and North will face off at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Glendale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.8 points per game this season. As for Dominguez, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mayfair at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
