The Rocky Bayou Christian Knights will take on the Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Rocky Bayou Christian got the win against Ponce De Leon by a conclusive 10-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Colt Stevens made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He is becoming a predictor of Rocky Bayou Christian's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 4-0-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Stevens was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Rocky Bayou Christian let Trand Scott and Henry Baltz run wild. Scott scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Baltz scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Baltz has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Strunk, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
Rocky Bayou Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ponce De Leon only posted an OBP of .424.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pensacola Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They had just enough and edged out Central Christian 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won seven in a row.
Pensacola Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Micah Gettle, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another was Wyatt Keever, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Rocky Bayou Christian pushed their record up to 8-5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Pensacola Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Rocky Bayou Christian beat Pensacola Christian Academy 5-2 in their previous matchup back in February. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
