Soccer Recap: Topeka Falls Short Against Ranked Valley Center

Topeka faced Valley Center in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Trojans came up short against the Hornets, falling 4-1. Topeka just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Topeka's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Valley Center, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Topeka will challenge Shawnee Heights at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Center, they will venture away from home to take on Arkansas City on Tuesday.
