Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Sheridan

Sheridan entered their tilt with Indy Genesis HomeSchool on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Indy Genesis. That's more bragging rights for the Blackhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Braelan Bochner made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Bochner was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and one double. He has become a key player for Sheridan: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 6-11 otherwise.

In other batting news, Jake Hall was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Sheridan now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Indy Genesis HomeSchool, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Sheridan will square off against Tipton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Indy Genesis HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
