Baseball Recap: Manchester Flying Dutchmen vs. Addison Panthers
Manchester had lost three straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it four. They came up short against the Addison Panthers, falling 12-0. The Flying Dutchmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.
As for Addison, their record is now 2-5. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Addison's part, Jacob Wright made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Wright was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.
