Recap: Orr Spartans vs. North Grand Eagle Owls

The Orr Spartans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 69-57 win over North Grand. With that victory, Orr brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.

Orr's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malik Meridy, who scored 23 points. The match was Meridy's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Damarion Johnson, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Orr's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for North Grand, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Orr will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Lincoln Park's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for North Grand, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake View at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Lake View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
