Graves County is a perfect 10-0 against Marshall County since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Neither Graves County nor Marshall County posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Apollo. While Graves County had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored Apollo 7-0.

Meanwhile, Marshall County played a tough matchup last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Owensboro 62-7. The Marshals haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Graves County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Marshall County, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Graves County against Marshall County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 37-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
