Volleyball Game Preview: Rapid City Christian Comets vs. Bennett County Warriors

Rapid City Christian has gone a perfect 7-0 against Bennett County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Comets will challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Rapid City Christian comes in on five and Bennett County on 18.

Rapid City Christian barely beat Sturgis Brown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets put the hurt on the Scoopers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Rapid City Christian never let Sturgis Brown on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Bennett County got the win against Philip on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-10.

Bennett County's victory bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Rapid City Christian, their win bumped their record up to 26-10.

Rapid City Christian beat Bennett County 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
