Football Recap: Jenison Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jenison and Hudsonville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jenison had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 47-7. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Hudsonville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady L Van Laecke, who threw for 183 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 92.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 62 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. The dominant performance also gave L Van Laecke a new career-high in passer rating (170.7). Nick PattersoN was another key back, rushing for 89 yards and one score on only nine carries.

Jenison has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Hudsonville, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
