Volleyball Game Preview: Sandy Creek Cougars vs. Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals

Sandy Creek hasn't had much luck against Doniphan-Trumbull recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sandy Creek's tournament run continued when they took on Sutton on Thursday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Doniphan-Trumbull came up short against Centura on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14.

Sandy Creek's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

Sandy Creek couldn't quite get it done against Doniphan-Trumbull in their previous matchup back in September of 2021 as they fell 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
