Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Arsenal Technical Takes a Loss

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Purdue Polytechnic Techies. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Techies when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-12.

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Purdue Polytechnic, their record now sits at 11-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Indianapolis Arsenal Technical will face off against Lawrence North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Purdue Polytechnic, after both having extra time off, they and Indianapolis Shortridge will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Blue Devils have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
