Pinecrest is 9-1 against Jack Britt since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Patriots will head out to challenge the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. Pinecrest will be strutting in after a win while Jack Britt will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Pinecrest made easy work of Purnell Swett and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

While Pinecrest won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Jack Britt suffered their biggest defeat since October 15, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against Gray's Creek, falling 3-0.

While Jack Britt was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-13.

Jack Britt has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Pinecrest, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Pinecrest beat Jack Britt 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
