The First Academy had a senior duo take command as Lorenzo De jesus scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals and Julian Anderson scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that De jesus scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Max Simmons, who scored 11 points.
The victory (which was The First Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Trinity Prep, they bumped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
The First Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Viera at 6:30 p.m. on December 13th. Trinity Prep will take on Merritt Island Christian in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at. Hopefully Merritt Island Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Friday.
