Lincoln entered their tilt with Bishop Heelan Catholic on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Crusaders. While the Lynx didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-29), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

George Garst spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lincoln saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Adler, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That's the most hits Adler has posted since back in June of 2025.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will head out on the road to challenge Le Mars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they have already played their next contest, a 15-3 victory against Gehlen Catholic on the 6th.
