Volleyball Recap: Rutgers Prep's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rutgers Prep had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Gill St. Bernard's Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Argonauts also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Rutgers Prep not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Gill St. Bernard's between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Anushka Gubbala, who had six kills, four digs, and four aces. Laela Domanski was another key player, getting 12 digs.

Rutgers Prep's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Gill St. Bernard's, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Rutgers Prep is taking a road trip to face off against Montgomery at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gill St. Bernard's, they will be playing at home against Stuart Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
