Football Game Preview: Radnor Raptors vs. Haverford Fords

Radnor is 0-6 against Haverford since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Raptors will take on the Fords at 7:00 p.m. Radnor has given up an average of 31.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Radnor was beaten by Springfield 50-14. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Cougars are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Haverford's offense. They lost to Ridley on the road by a 14-0 margin on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Fords were not able to get on the board.

Haverford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Radnor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Radnor was dealt a bruising 40-3 defeat at the hands of Haverford in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Raptors were down 27-0.
