Basketball Recap: Louisburg Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

If J.F. Webb wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Louisburg, they should've done a better job of containing Jaylen Alexander. The Louisburg Warriors walked away with a 67-55 victory over the J.F. Webb Warriors on Friday thanks in part to Alexander, who posted 19 points and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in January.

Another player making a difference was Javion Lynch, who earned nine points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Louisburg moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for J.F. Webb, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

The future could be bright for both Louisburg and J.F. Webb: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Louisburg will try to hand Cedar Valley their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on December 28th. Similarly, J.F. Webb will try to hand Bunn their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th.
