Interlake won the last time they faced Lindbergh and things went their way on Thursday too. The Saints took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-7 victory over the Eagles. Considering the Saints have won five games by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Interlake's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Hancock, who rushed for 49 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 92 yards and two touchdowns. Hancock also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. Another receiver making a difference was Mykah Mondin, who picked up 157 receiving yards and three TDs.

Interlake didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Lindbergh to a completion percentage of just 26.3%. The Saints weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 55.6%.

Interlake's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points over those games. As for Lindbergh, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
