Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Oak Hill won the last time they faced Logansport, and Landon Cruzan did his part to make sure it happened again. The Oak Hill Golden Eagles skirted past the Logansport Berries 62-59 thanks in part to Cruzan, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 13 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Logansport still got an impressive performance from Chris Anthony Delvalle, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deagan Kitchel, who went 5-for-6 en route to 12 points.

Oak Hill is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Logansport, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Oak Hill is taking a road trip to face off against Tipton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season. As for Logansport, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lafayette Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m.
