Football Recap: Community School of Davidson Piles Up the Points Against Langtree Charter Academy + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Community School of Davidson). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 58-7 victory over the Langtree Charter Academy Lions. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Spartans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Lions are ranked 383rd).

Ty Sigler was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Community School of Davidson is 3-1 when Sigler posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Nixon Willis handled things on the ground, rushing for 85 yards.

Community School of Davidson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Community School of Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
