Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Hampshire

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hampshire had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past the Keyser Golden Tornado with a 55-51 victory. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Golden Tornado: they've now won five in a row.

Hampshire's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Keyser, they moved to 10-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Hampshire will face off against Bridgeport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bridgeport will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something Hampshire surely won't give up without a fight. Keyser does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
