Basketball Game Preview: Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots vs. Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons

Hills-Beaver Creek is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Adrian/Ellsworth is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots will host the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Last Monday, Hills-Beaver Creek sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 victory over George-Little Rock.

Meanwhile, Adrian/Ellsworth hadn't done well against Southwest Minnesota Christian recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Adrian/Ellsworth came out on top in a nail-biter against Southwest Minnesota Christian, sneaking past 74-72.

Hills-Beaver Creek has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
