Basketball Game Preview: Cranberry Area Berries vs. North Clarion Wolves

Cranberry Area hasn't had much luck against North Clarion recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cranberry Area Berries will face off against the North Clarion Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Cranberry Area knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully North Clarion likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Cranberry Area was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 65-61 to Slippery Rock.

Meanwhile, North Clarion beat Allegheny-Clarion Valley 50-41 last Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

North Clarion now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cranberry Area, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything went Cranberry Area's way against North Clarion in their previous matchup back in January, as Cranberry Area made off with a 66-44 win. Does Cranberry Area have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Clarion turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
