With a playoff win on the line, NCSSM: Morganton rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Andrews Wildcats with a sharp 7-1 victory. Considering NCSSM: Morganton have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Andrews from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. August Cook led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

NCSSM: Morganton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Andrews, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9-1.

As of now, neither NCSSM: Morganton nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
