Basketball Recap: Chaminade Takes a Loss

Chaminade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 81-51 defeat at the hands of the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-24.

Chaminade's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Harvard-Westlake, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-1.

Chaminade will square off against Loyola at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Loyola has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 172 points over their last three contests. As for Harvard-Westlake, they are taking a road trip to face off against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harvard-Westlake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matchups -- so hopefully St. Francis likes a good challenge.
