Softball Recap: Clements Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Clements Colts didn't have quite enough to beat the Tharptown Wildcats and fell 7-6. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyten Burks was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Lexie Henderson also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Clements now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tharptown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Clements will take on Athens Bible at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tharptown, they will take on Shoals Christian in a tournament on Saturday.
