Volleyball Recap: Bible Baptist Starts Season with Win Against Plum Creek Christian Academy

Bible Baptist took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Plum Creek Christian Academy Explorers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bible Baptist never let Plum Creek Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 26-24.

Anna Porter and Riona Reed certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Porter had 12 digs and two aces, while Reed had eight digs and four aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Plum Creek Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Plum Creek Christian Academy will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bible Baptist will be paying especially close attention to the Explorers' match: after the Explorers face off against Hebron Christian Academy, they'll take on Bible Baptist again at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th.
