Football Recap: North Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-28 heartbreaker at the hands of the Meadowdale Mavericks.

When it comes to explaining why North Creek lost, don't look at Ishaan Sharma. Despite the final result, he threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns.

Meadowdale was led to victory by Cayden Rivera and Zekiah Gamble. Rivera rushed for 198 yards and one score while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, while Gamble rushed for 43 yards and one TD. Those 198 rushing yards gave Rivera a new career-high.

North Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Meadowdale, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

As of now, neither North Creek nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
